Fantastic Foods Friday Features, Party #3 and Tangy Greek Salad Dressing

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to everyone who participated this week!

I LOVE seeing all your yummy creations!

We may be small but we are getting big time views so keep those links coming!

These recipes took the top three places with the most views...

Here is the recipe I wanted to share this week

Originally posted on my main blog JustaFrugalFoodie

We had this salad with our Meatless Monday meal and I thought it was so gorgeous I made a separate post out of it.

The salad had Romaine, Iceberg, Red Pepper, Tomato, Red Cabbage, Cucumber, Carrot, Celery, Onion, Feta and Kalamata Olives.

The dressing came from Allrecipes and was adapted based on reviews.

  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • dash of pepper
Combine all in a mason jar or other jar with tight fitting lid.  Shake well to combine.  Let rest at room temperature a couple hours for flavors to blend.

Mr. Foodie found this to be a little too tart for him but it was just right for me.

Is that a gorgeous salad or what? And it's every bit as tasty as it is beautiful.

Now on to the next party!

Remember, I will be Featuring all three winners on my Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest accounts so get your links in early.  The earlier you get your links in the more opportunity you have for racking up those views!
